The Maser’s are great to look at, but they occupied the smaller side of the show room, lucky for us, the larger side housed the Ferrari show room. As we made our way to that side of building, our eyes were dazzled with an overload of beautiful red objects of driving desire!
Sitting front and center and taking center stage on the showroom floor was a red Ferrari FF. For those of you that may not know, the FF is the replacement for the Ferrari 612. This would be the equivalent comparison to the Maserati Grand Turismo and is more of a GT car with a back seat and for the first time on a production Ferrari, all wheel drive. The V12 provides plenty of power, though the ‘shooting brake’ style has been a bit controversial. Some love it, some hate it. The opinion around here is that is just doesn’t have the ‘sporty’ exotic look one expects from a Ferrari. It is a large car, but one cannot argue its performance credentials. It does get with the program.
